Saint Kitts Signs Visa-Waiver Agreement With the Russian Federation


Sept. 21 2017, has been marked as an important day in history between Russia and St. Kitts & Nevis. Both countries have signed an agreement to allow for mutual visa-free travel between their respective countries.

The Visa-free travel program, which will take effect in November 2017, allows nationals of both countries to travel both in leisure or business, therefore increasing the cultural and business exchanges between both countries. Additionally all the lengthy visa application procedures have therefore been abolished. With this visa free agreement with Russia, the passports of St Kitts & Nevis have become more valuable in the Caribbean.

The St. Kitts government has been putting all their efforts in establishing and strengthening relationships across the globe for the benefit of its citizens. The St. Kitts & Nevis government have been very active adding the Ukraine and the Maldives in 2016 to its list of visa free travel.

Furthermore, on September, 23rd yet another great achievement accomplished, as the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis signs Visa Waiver Agreement with the Republic of Indonesia.
